Week 7: The Princess and the Frog

Five Master Shot Movie Review
The Princess and the Frog (2009)
Directed by: John Musker & Ron Clements

This is an example of simultaneity this is shows the nature animal witch dancing as the animals are also dancing outside. This shows her command over nature.

This is an example of contrast where Tiana is explaining to her mom her vision for the restaurant she bought.

This is an example of leitmotif where the antagonist is trapping the naive Prince Navid by inciting him with things such as money and power.

This is an example of parallelism because Louis refers to how he wants to play with the big boy when he is the big boy himself, and the humans where shocked to see a gator playing trumpet.

This is an example of symbolism because Ray the light fly’s light goes out which symbolizes his death and he becomes of of the stars in the sky shining down on the characters which significantly to the name Ray.
